Ah, Snow Flower and Secret Fan and Gilead are both high up on my to-read list. :) And To Kill a Mockingbird and Heart of Darkness... both simply wonderful. A great list, thanks!

Happy TT! Mine's up: I went Visual Arty this week with 13 of my favorite paintings.

Great list!
I loved To Kill a Mockingbird, and recently read #1 Ladies... and have gone on to the rest in the series.

Great idea for a TT. There's a few I'm adding to my list and several that I totally agree with your rating.

The Alchemist is something I would like to get my hands on. I already have over 12 books on my to-be-read list this year. I'll get to it though.

Snow Flower is on my list too.

Mine is tv shows I enjoy, feels like a cop-out list, but it's all I had the brainpower for last night.

Great list of book. I didn't like "To Kill a Mockingbird" but that's probably because I had to read it in grade 9 and we analyzed it to death.

Happy T13. :)

I read lots of those books in my younger days and loved them. Perhaps one day I'll read a few again

I'm lucky that most of the book I read would score at least a 4 on my good list!!
The only book on your list I read is to Kill a Mockingbird(in an english class!!)

Great list (well, I would disagree with HOD - I much prefer Chinua Achebe's Things Fall Apart). I haven't heard of some on your list, I'll have to look into them!
